Thor

Since the whole household understood that I was not to be disturbed for next several hours, or even a day, I wondered off to bed.

I heard the doorbell ring once. I'm expecting a package from the VA, non medicinal. I waited for a second ring, there was none. I went back to sleep.

Alice, I forgot Alice!!! My smoke detector decided it needed a shower. F***!!! So I did what I normally do when the smoke detector starts acting up, I remove the battery. OMG!!! Stupid tamper switch. So I clean the detector and replace the battery. {going from bad to worst} Somehow I activated the fire alarm. The phone rings, it's the alarm company. They put two and two together and did not call the fire department. I let them know what was going on and that everything was okay.

So the phone rings again, I pick up without looking at the caller ID. It is a bill collector. Now I still have not been able to silence the alarm. Miss BC starts with "I have very important matter for Shela Thomas." She who? I told her my fire alarm is going off... She reiterates that it is important that she talk to Shela Thomas and asks if she is available to come to the phone. I throw the phone towards Thor. From the receiver I hear, my hair's on fire...

I finally got Alice calmed down. Thor is hungry... And so am I. Time to eat. Thor gets an extra handful of Boo-Berries since he was a good ghost.

PS Tossing a smoke detector in the toilet is not a good idea.
